| 11:49 am | 053; A brainstorming session. [Emmeline and Edie] All right, how are we going to get this out to the public? It's all very well, the Professors knowing, but keeping all of us safe in this school was only half the point. After all, until she's exposed she'll always been dangerous. We can hardly Owl the Prophet with the Ministry going through the post, and besides, I doubt whether they'd publish anything anyway. There's Em's paper, but that only circulates here and we've no way of getting it out unless we used the Muggle post, which we could use as a last resort but I'm not sure how effective it would be since the Wizards who live in Muggle neighborhoods probably never actually check their mailboxes and the rest haven't got them to begin with. And writing it in the journals not only exposes who we are, but we get called ridiculous, silly little girls with no creditability since we can't prove it unless we go around to every journal in the world individually and unhex it. Think, girls, there's got to be a way! |

| 1:21 pm | 051; Lily's schoolwork is going neglected, guys. [Private to Emmeline and Edie] I think I've got it. How to break her hex, I mean. It's complicated, and I don't think we could do it to all the journals at once, or anything, I mean we'd have to cast about five different charms on each journal where we wanted it to be visible individually, and I have no idea if it'd be permanent, or how it would affect other privacy hexes, but...well, I think it would work. And then if we add in some shielding charms, at least the first few times, it wouldn't be able to backfire on us if she's got some sort of vile protection against the hex breaking on it, which I wouldn't put past her. To be a bit more coherent, it's risky, but I think we can manage. Do we want to try to practice first, or something, or should we set up a meeting with Dumbledore right away? |

Bit funny that the Prophet's been surpressing all those reports of terrorist activities, but it's right up front about covering our glorious Minister's glorious speeches. I think, anyway. At any rate, blast, there go my plans to spend all my summer nights carousing at the nearest pub, up in smoke. No discos for the Wizards, this year. I guess I'll have to return my dancing shoes. |

Last time I checked, there weren't actually laws on the books forbidding radio personalities from inviting people onto their shows, Muggleborn or not. I'm quite curious as to the justification, that's all. I'm sure one of you kind officials would deign to enlighten me? |

It seems odd that with big things going on in the rest of England, life still goes on as usual at Hogwarts, doesn't it? I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm absolutely stumped on all of these human transfiguration things. Has anybody gotten it yet? I'm sure I just need a little nudge from somebody who isn't Professor McGonagall; she's already explained it to me privately three times and I'm just not getting it, I need a different explanation. |
